Our project set out to establish a unique visual palette which interested me due to my passion in creating captivating images through film. We went through many varied test shoots in order to establish the look of the film. I learned many new techniques surrounding lighting and camera work which I look forward to taking into future projects.
Snare is a Psychological Thriller short film that follows Simon, a young adult who begins to question his family’s intentions after becoming trapped within his own home. Through a non-linear structure and distinct visual style, Snare explores the effects of mental health and the impact it has on both the individual and their family.
