Bachelor of Design with Honours
A tombolo is a sandy tether connecting a tied island to the mainland, coming and going with the tide. Tombolo is a pop album exploring reconnection and vulnerability. The project is informed by research into interdisciplinary creative expression. This catalysed designerly exploration of tensions between art, commerce, author and audience. Tombolo both honours and subverts pop conventions (such as lyric book and music video), and includes a bespoke hybrid typeface.
