Seeking Safety is a critique of New Zealand’s treatment of asylum seekers and convention refugees. Giving a new perspective on this social issue by creating a domestic link between the refugee crisis and Aotearoa New Zealand. This book breaks down the problems within our political and immigration policies, which dramatically affect people seeking refuge on our shores every day, in hopes to counter negative and inaccurate perceptions to create a more empathic and compassionate understanding of Seeking Safety.
