‘Insight’ is a project that looks into how communication design can facilitate graduating designers with a resource that empowers and raises awareness around accessibility for the visually impaired. Roughly 180,000 people in New Zealand are Visually impaired and the number of people requiring accessibility in their everyday life is increasing. ‘Insight’ aims to inspire design graduates to extend their design approach to include the visually impaired. “Good design enables, bad design disables”
