Resident is a reinterpretation of local news designed to make it more accessible for communities. Local information is incredibly important but is often disregarded. It is easy to become consumed by global news in digital spaces, so Resident uses a tactile print publication to engage the audience. While this project uses Newtown as a case study, it is designed to be applied as a system to communities across Aotearoa.
