True Vine is an interior textiles collection that explores the opportunity for decoration in contemporary church spaces. It uses illustration and symbolism to communicate biblical text, specifically themes relating to the relationship between God and Humanity. I visualised the allegory from John 15:1–17 where Jesus describes himself as a vine and I constructed motifs for expressing the fruitfulness of remaining close to him. My aim is that this collection would spark conversation and engagement with the Bible.
