A transformation of our constructed urban environment, to perform in symbiosis with its surrounding natural living systems.
Bachelor of Design with Honours
A comparison of our natural ecosystems with human metabolic functions provides a foundation toward the transition of our constructed environment to digest, flow and circulate in ways that living organisms do. This project proposes an upcycle and transfer system for Wellington City to repurpose construction and demolition waste materials.
The transport artery Adelaide Road will be utilised as one of 6 digestive systems within the City to support and create a symbiotic relationship with our natural environment.
