‘A Folly Between the Vines’ proposes an adaptive reuse of an old relocated church and paddock in Martinborough. It responds to the divided social networks and relationships of locals and tourists which is largely a result of the wine industry's impact on Martinborough's tight-knit community. This project offers a different kind of vineyard, one that is humble, and which shows visitors a slower and different experience through active participation.
