Reassurance: Airline Emergency Oxygen Mask

Reassurance uses silicone co-moulded with a injection mould plastic shell to allow the mask to feel more rigid but still conform to the face
The strap of the mask gets pulled downwards to tighten allowing for greater ease of use

Bachelor of Design with Honours

The current mask that is used in airliners is host to a number of issues that have the potential to lead to users wearing the mask incorrectly, poor adjustment, and lowering the time someone has to access the mask.

My project Reassurance looks at how design could not only solve these issues but also how the design of the mask may be interpreted by users in a high stress environment.
