Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours

As a creative, art is an expression not bound by words but experienced through various perceptions. My inspiration stems from the research I do: through my culture, my faith, and my fānau. Malaga Fa’aleagaga is an activation of tangible and intangible principles surrounding Siapo. The common practice of Siapo is transformed by embodying post-colonial textile techniques (hand embroidery) to challenge internalized Christianity within Fa'a Sāmoa.
