My studio practise explores tensions between organic and synthetic materials through the means of sculpture and installation practices. The industrial or commercial nature of materials used in relation to the contained organic elements, explore ideas surrounding confinement, consumerism and post-reality, alluding to our own relationship with the natural world and, in turn, the Anthropocene.
