My practice explores the way the public sees witchcraft. I examine everyday magic and magic out in public. I have a genuine interest in witchcraft (as a practicing witch) but I also enjoy the oft unwitting comedy in witchy clichés and media portrayals of witchcraft in film and television. I pit the high drama of witchy expectations against the contemporary witch’s everyday suburban trappings.
