The perception of everyday clothing is based on old patriarchal ideals that reinforce misogynistic ideas in day to day life. SoftCore breaks the formulated representation of power as a patriarchal ideal, by portraying power in an embodied feminine form. The silhouettes are inspired by the past and how women would accentuate their curves to manipulate the males in charge to gain power.
