Bachelor of Design with Honours
This collection is a result of an investigating carried this year to see if an individual can explore and find their cultural identity through fashion. As a Sri Lankan New Zealander, I experienced cultural displacement from my root. Therefore, I aimed to bridge the gap between cultures in the search for my own cultural identity. To do this I have incorporated elements of design from both western and Sri-Lankan cultures.
