[Re]construct' challenges social constructs around gender through androgynous modular designs that separate clothing from biological sex. Responding to androgynous fashions lack of individualisation and concealment of the body to remove traditional gender connotations, my designs incorporate hidden button wraps that create detachable pieces. Allowing for various styling options within single garments, my collection provides a respect for the wearer within the androgynous style, while also challenging fast fashion.
