What if you had to care for your clothes until they die because they have legal personhood? “Handle with Care” harnesses speculative design and biodesign to envision a future where wearables are active, self-healing, living organisms that reconcile the act of clothing with the fight against climate change and the search for a local, circular, economy of degrowth, taking fashion towards the Ecocene.
