TISSU

Bachelor of Design with Honours

TISSU explores a new approach to genderless clothing through adaptable tailoring. Bodies and cloth are often defined by restrictive gender dichotomies, so, TISSU encourages subversive thinking, without binary limits. Gender can be emancipated from sexed bodily assumptions, without the absence of physical forms or compromising garment fit. The self and identity are more accurately performed within a fluid spectrum, through individual engagement with the space between body and cloth.
