When we started our project, we wanted to tell the stories of these incredible women to inspire and ignite the community service spirit of young women in Wellington. We wanted to help give women the platform to do the work that sets their souls on fire by joining the organization. I was keen on shooting a story that wouldn’t just be for entertainment, but one that is for public good.
“Ignite” is a short documentary film, offering insight into the lives and careers of five members of Zonta International’s Wellington club. These inspirational women divulge stories about their youth, the ways they’ve overcome their workplace struggles and their hopes for the future. Join these five incredible feminists as they prove just how empowering the work that Zonta International does really is.
