Hayley Thompson

Hayley is the writer/researcher of 'Ignite', a documentary showcasing influential and inspiring members of the Zonta Club of Wellington. This documentary fuels discourse around the work Zonta does internationally as well as fueling conversations around feminism in New Zealand and the work that still needs to be done. This project was hugely inspiring and engaging to be a part of, and was an awesome opportunity to learn from some of the most influential and igniting women in New Zealand.
“Ignite” is a short documentary film, offering insight into the lives and careers of five members of Zonta International’s Wellington club. These inspirational women divulge stories about their youth, the ways they’ve overcome their workplace struggles and their hopes for the future. Join these five incredible feminists as they prove just how empowering the work that Zonta International does really is.
